What About the Children?

Yeah, what about the children? They're annoying from the minute they're born - with the crying, sticky hands and sippy cups. Then you cobble together the finances, emotions and physicality it takes to raise them only to have them turn on you in their teens with their Sartre quoting, coffee stealing, chore adverse rebellions. All kids are not cute. Some of them are worse than others. This morning I was walking my dog and a six year old on a bike passed me and said "Your dog's weird looking." "So are you." I responded. Probably sent him crashing into a pole or back to his parents for therapy. What about the children indeed.
