Take A Knee, Take A Leave

This week some of the California State University professors went on strike for higher pay and parental leave. I vote “yes!" - More money for professors and put the parents on leave. Really, get rid of the parents. They have been meddling in education long enough with their book banning and thought policing. Take a leave and home school your kids, with your Socratic method credentials and your #blessedbakesales. And please save the “Oh my kids will thrive socially in their after school activities" like volleyball or coding or crafting or whatever you fabricate in their pseudo future assimilation. And now that you’ve prepared Bambi or the other extreme - your excessively invested-in, jet-setting, speaks 5 languages, wears only Prada kid – you’re ready to take on college for them. Oh parents please take a leave, take a knee, take 5, take your insecurities, hostilities, inabilities out on something other than what others were actually trained to do – just take a break…and leave.
