Ordering a Land Animal

"Would you like a protein with that?" Gen-X waitress asks.

"No I'm a flexitarian." I respond.

"What's that?" she asks.

"I eat bacon occasionally."

"Is that a thing?"

"It's my thing."

"Well, would you like a land animal?" she persists.

"A land animal?" I repeat, as my head goes straight to Jurassic Park - dinos thumping over turbulent terrain." "Yes, I would like a T-Rex slab with a side of Pterodaktyl wings.

Perplexed "Is that code for beef?"

"No...that was a joke."
