I hope not. I much prefer the quick raise of the chin - east coast style. I acknowledge your existence but until proven otherwise you’re not worth touching.

No men squeezing each other's hands to prove their manhood, or pseudo “I’m there for you” kinda shake - or that formal Dockers-wearing secret frat-shake - no feigned interest - no obligatory hand over hand-shake.

But I don’t want to do a deep bow either, while germ-free and less invasive it assumes you deserve some unearned honor. And I can assure most people you meet do not deserve this. No, The only shaking I wanna do is on the dance floor preferably to REM’s “It’s the end of the world as we know it.”
